I fell behind in payments of my mortgage, worked with Home Eq Mortgage to modify loan, which took forever, had an agreement, then they sent an agreement that was incorrect. A
conference call took place with them and they agreed that the agreement sent was incorrect. We made a
verbal agreement through the
conference call. They said
paperwork on the agreement would be forthcoming. As I waited for the correct agreement they sold my house. When I phoned the
mortgage company I was advised to obtain an attorney. If I am having difficulty paying my mortgage how am I suppose to hire a real estate attorney. Now I just got served to vacate my house. How can the
mortgage company breach a verbal contract while the president is trying to help those that have been foreclosed. I'm pissed.

im responding again to this post, they did the same to us, we got served an unlawful detainer (eviction) and the attorney that showed up to represent them thought we had been scammed too, he put off the court date for two weeks to investigate and when we went back he quickly said "ahh, nothing came of it so when can you be out". then the reo rep from the real estate co. laughed. Nice.
