After some financial hardship,I was able to pay my July payment on the 30th. Imagine how pissed off I was when a few days later a new statement arrived with a charge for "advances" in the amount of $319.I was told that this was for an inspection that I know was not done.

This is not the first time that they have hit me.In May 2007 when I was paying my payment via telephone I discovered that instead of the $830 I was supposed to pay my payment was now $1100+because they claimed to have paid my property taxes which I later found they did not until August 14th.

This left me in a worse bind ,even as I struggled to keep up I fell further behind and was rewarded by being slapped with over $1800 in attorneys fees.

Someone, please stop them.

Right before HomeQ turned my home over for foreclosure I called Hope Now and then contacted HomeQ to let them know that I had been in contact with a specific person at Hope Now and told them exactly what they told me to tell Homeq. The mortgage company told me they didn't care what Hope Now said and they couldn't do any of the things that Hope Now said. So I had to shell out almost 5grand just to keep my house out of foreclosure and had to be put on a payment plan for 12 months which incurred over 2grand in attorny fees.

I have contacted homeq at least 6 times to have my mortgage modified and they continually tell me they are only doing adjustable rate loans. We I got tired of the same song and I contacted Hope Now. And when I told them Homeq would not modify my loan the people at hope now said it will be modified. And they told me to contact Homeq within 15 days from our conversation. If they do not call me first. People There is help do not take no for an answer and do not I repeat do not. Do a Short Sale on your home. Call HOPE NOW!!!!!!

Comments on Homeq charged me $300+ for being 30 days late.
