As a unhappy collections employee of Homeq Servicing here are some pointers for homeowners

1 Dont take no for an answer, contact Hope Now Homeq will modify almost any loan if it comes from an outside agency. They will tell you your loan is not coded by the investor for a mod, this is crap I see them do mods all day long. They advise the employees do not offer mod if the customer does not ask for it.

They are offering rates as low as %, ask for an afforadabilty mod, also dont let them tell you that only adjustable rate loans qualify. I have seen fixed rate loans, both first and second modified. Also it seems if you are 2-3 payments behind, they are even more willing to modify and re capitilize the loan. The staff at homeq is very new , most people have less than one year with them in the collections dept, as It is such a bad place to work. Turnover is almost 100% within 6-9 months. Good Luck

anyone being charged a down pymnt to get a mod is delq. This money goes only to your loan and nowhere else. It is used to put your loan in a current enough state to start the mod.

This person is high, homeq follows same basic models as the going economy. They started with the most troubled loans first that is why you see delq people get them first. It beats helping people that arent currently loosing thier home and kicking famlies out in the streets and taking HUGE loses......Makes sense right?

As for the mod process it is a learing curb for the enitre country, it dosent state in ANY LOAN that if you have hard times we'll change the offer, so when you actually have that situation arise it is new.

If you look in THE NEW YORK TIMES it actually rates home #1 for mods being done correctly and we are A- in the BBB rating. We help as many people as we can that need help but you also get a large amount of people looking to exploit the system by manipulating these hard time for thier benefit.

HOMEQ now follows all HAMP guidelines and will also test for internal opts after that has failed. Anyone that says you need to be delq to get a mod is as high as this person! We get money to mod your loan and EVEN MORE $$$ if we mod it before it gets delq!!!!!!!!

We have been in forclosure since sept 2008, been dealing with HOMEQ for loan mod since Nov 2008. I hired a loan mod specialist. We have gotten no where. Forclosure was stoped. Homeq keeps on asking for more and more DOCs. The loan mod specialist sent all in paper work. Now they say they did not recieve one DOC, so they put the huse up hor sheriff sale. Speialist called beck and the person he is working with said now she has the paper and the mod supervisor will be in on tuesday and the will both sign off on mod and send us the loan mod for us to sign. should i trust them? HELP!!!!!

Homeq wants me to come up with $2200.00 to do modification. If I had that I could catch up my loan. I thought that they could not charge the borrowers fees because of incentivies they are getting???
