HOMEQ SERVICING complaint by Motterbeck
My mortage went up a few months ago so we desided to sell our house in May. We hadden't been able to pay the mortage because it went up four hundred dollars. HomeQ would not accept partial payments for us to be able to make payments on time. Now we are down to the wire on the foreclosure list. My Real Estate agent has tried for the last two months to get the house on short sale so it doesn't go into foreclosure before our buyers can get the funds to purchase. My Real Estate agent has been going round and round with the mortage company. HomeQ is just flaking out and it seems that this company wants consumers like me to loose our homes and make money in the process.

just to advise you, homeq does not make any money off of a foreclosure, it actually loses money. it is more of an asset to the company to service loans that are current than to go thru the delinquency process. homeq loses massive amounts of money having to pay outside companies to assist with the process of a foreclosure. to call the company lazy and act like you are the only one during this housing crisis that is attempting to do a short sale is ridiculous. you should appreciate the fact that homeq even considers short sales as an option to help you overcome your challenge.
